"I bought this as a Christmas present for my 5 year old granddaughter and am very pleased with it. Takes 3 AA batteries. Has no mouse. Lots of educational games. The girl is in Kindergarten and I had wanted something to get her introduced to computers, since she will be dealing with computers in school in a few years. Very happy with the purchase. With regard to eye strain issues that can result from her playing nonstop with this thing, we have a play limit of 2 hours for her. I should add that some of the games and activities on this computer are too advanced for her right now, but I am confident she will grow into those more advanced games and activities this next year or so. Would buy again. Only problem we had with it was that it was hard to get out of the box (there are twist latches that bind the box to the back of the computer and you have to turn and lift out those latches to fully disconnect it from the box). But once out of the box it was great!"
